I met Chazelle earlier this year at the Umami Cooking Competition, where we were both judges. We quickly bonded over our love of food and wine and we have since become friends.
I’ve been a fan of her work ever since I tried her prawn keto salad, so it only makes sense that she would be the first chef I featured on my blog.
Chazelle Coombes trained at the International Hotel School, in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating she worked for Ryalls Hotel for a year before opening her own company called Cheffete.
Cheffete provides catering services, home deliveries and junior chef trainings for kids. She has a wide and affordable menu, with fun breakfast items and keto options for lunch.
